THE MAIN EDUCATIONAL ASSUMPTIONS and GRADUATE’S PROFILE
AT A FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATION (bachelor’s degree level) in ESLA
1. EDUCATIONAL ASSUMPTIONS
During their three year lasting studies at European School of Law and Administration, students acquire a comprehensive education in a
field of International Relations at bachelor’s level what means that after graduation they would be prepared to work for all institutions
which are involved in political, economic and social international co-operation all over the world.
Curriculum is based on an idea of combining theoretical knowledge with a practice starting from the first year of studies and includes
three basic thematic modules, such as:
1.1. Interdisciplinary courses in: philosophy, sociology, social psychology,
It classes covering work with text editors, data bases and internet as well as several hundreds hours of English course
1.2. Subjects which are introductory to the main courses: economy, marketing, political science, basic of mathematics and statistic,
political and economic geography, history of world
1.3. Speciality courses: international law, European law, history of international relations, international economic affairs, international
organizations and institutions, theory of political affairs, contemporary political systems in Europe and all over the world, human rights,
basic of polish commercial, labour and social security law, international security system, organization and technique of a foreign service,
methodology of international relations, government’s foreign policy of United States of America, European Union, Russia, Poland and Germany,
problems and conflicts of a Middle East.
In addition school offers also courses which are aimed at preparing graduates to write a formal
letters and offers, arrange the formal appointments,
deal with the customers and take proper decisions in changing all the time environments.
2. A PROFILE OF GRADUATE
All graduates should possess a basic knowledge about range of social-political, economic and cultural problems of the whole world as well as
European continent. He would be able to take an active part in a social, political, economic life of the present-day societies. He would be
also acquaint to all mechanisms which govern the political systems of the countries, possessing knowledge concerning structures and functions
of the main and most important international institutions and organisations.
3. POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS
3.1 All public offices:
a) Employment offices
b) Any public or private organizations or institutions which deal with training people leaving abroad to find a job
c) Border service
3.2 All institutions and organiations which deal with promotion of India abroad
3.3 In bussiness – all companies which are aimed at keeping good commercial relations with their European partners
3.4 All companies which are dealing with export of goods from India
3.5 All branches offices of the foreign companies which are seated in India
3.6 Travel agencies which deal with organizing trips to Poland or Europe for Indian people or trips for European ones to India
After finishing of the complementary, two years lasting study in International relations at a master degree level all graduates will be
eligible to develope also their diplomatic carrier.
Important note:
During their studies, all students will have opportunity to take part in one week lecture’s session given in ESLA’s representative office
in Brussels – a real center of European Union.
It will be free of charge for the best ones!!
This additional course will let students to get acquaint with all rules governing european union institutions.
